太有型就被認為是同志？肯伊搬出未婚妻喊冤
拍廣告呼籲總統候選人重視學校教育
眾所囑目的兩大嘻哈天王 50 Cent / 五角與 Kanye West / 肯伊威斯特對決結果揭曉了，肯依威斯特在發片首日以47萬7千張的銷量大勝五角的31萬張，一掃先前在 MTV 音樂獎的怨氣。曾被「浮華世界」雜誌選為年度衣著人士的肯伊，再度獲得時尚界的肯定，「GQ」雜誌受封為年度風雲人物，不過在此同時也傳出很會穿衣服、又很少在歌曲中逞兇鬥狠的肯伊很有「娘味」，被粉絲懷疑是同志?肯伊立刻跳出來喊冤說自己絕對不是同志，而且還有一個色藝雙全的設計師未婚妻，面對同志傳言，肯伊開玩笑地表示：「反正我專輯一樣賣得很好，沒差啦!」即將在9月11日全球發行校園三部曲最終回【Gradation / 畢業特典】的肯伊，也為美國教育團體拍攝公益廣告，呼籲政治人物重視學校教育。
有別於一般饒舌歌手總把髒話掛在嘴邊、喜歡逞兇鬥狠的形象，穿著總是有型有款、個性又相較溫和的肯伊就曾被歌迷懷疑是同志，同時也培養出不少的同志歌迷。對次烏龍傳言，肯伊承認自己在舞台上的確不是那麼「Man」，不過絕對不是同志，他說：「我的歌曲中還是有許多主題跟男性氣概有關，我希望歌迷不要因為我比較注意外在的細節就以為我是同志，我也已經30歲了，早就不是會在夜店找人打架的小伙子。」同時他也開玩笑地說：「反正我專輯一樣賣得很好，都拿第一名，沒差啦。」
事實上肯伊非但不是同志，他還有一個漂亮又有才華，設計師未婚妻 Alexis Phifer / 艾莉西斯，兩人住在比佛利山莊的豪宅，同時在家裡收集了滿滿的LV皮箱與村上隆的作品。艾莉西斯自創了服裝品牌「Ghita」，並在今年的紐約時裝週發表新作品，談起未婚妻，肯伊甜蜜地說：「他是我心目中最有型的女人，永遠帶給我新鮮感。」而肯伊的老媽兼經紀人 Donda West / 唐妲也對這個未來媳婦滿意的不得了，並希望兩人儘快完婚呢!
大學肄業的肯伊在嘻哈樂壇算是高知識分子，在2004年發表【The College Dropout / 遠離校園】、2005年發表【Late registration / 遲來的註冊】，而新專輯則取名為【Graduation / 畢業特典】，一向關心教育議題的他，最近就幫美國教育團體拍攝公益廣告，呼籲2008美國總統候選人關心最根本的學校教育，他說：「當一個嘻哈歌王需要付出很多努力，但也需要學校教育做基礎。」同時他也鼓勵年輕人多唸書，充實內在。

2007 MTV 音樂獎得獎名單
2007年 MTV 音樂獎得獎名單在今天出爐了，環球藝人大有斬獲，在今年掀起「小雨傘」旋風的蕾哈娜獨得年度音樂錄影帶獎、年度超級單曲兩項大獎，大會並安排師姐瑪麗布萊姬與德瑞博士頒獎，有趣的是「小雨傘」這首歌原本是要給瑪麗布萊姬演唱的。另外人氣新天后菲姬獲頒年度最佳女歌手，人氣天團打倒男孩也頒最佳團體。
