本名 Leslie Feist，來自加拿大 Calgary的Feist，高中時期和好友們合組龐克樂團 Placebo 擔任主唱，贏得過當地音樂大賽冠軍；也曾加入多倫多搖滾組合By Divine Right負責演奏吉他。2004 年簽入環球音樂集團後，Feist推出備受好評的作品【Let It Die】，榮獲權威音樂大站 All Music Guide 四顆半星、MIXMAG 的滿分評鑑﹔自此，Feist 慵懶隨性的嗓音讓她頻頻出現在 New York Times、Village Voice、Philadelphia Inquirer...等專業媒體樂評的最愛名單上！
